<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the internal mechanism of a calculation engine and make processable a plurality of various stream data in real time in a microprocessor having the calculation engine. <P>SOLUTION: The calculation engine is constituted of a calculation setting resistor and a calculator. An input stream has a header part having a calculating method or added data and a data part to be calculated. An output stream has a calculation result part and a footer part having a calculating method or added data. The calculation setting resistor inputs a part of the calculating method or added data of the header part and outputs the footer part. The calculator inputs data included in the part of the added data of the header part and the data part, outputs the calculation result of the calculation result part, and uses the footer part of the outputted stream data as information becoming a base of a header part of next stream data inputted the calculation engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
