<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit, capable of driving a light emitting element at high speed even in a low-voltage power source, and suitable for miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: A driving circuit, supplying a bias current to a light emitting element 21 and performing modulation driven by voltage, is provided with a booster circuit 22 boosting a source voltage Vcc; a resistor element R<SB>21</SB>connecting the output of the booster circuit 22 with the anode terminal of the light emitting element 21, a capacitor element C<SB>21</SB>connected to the anode terminal of the light emitting element 21 to voltage-drive the light emitting element 21 by inputting a positive-phase modulation signal; a capacitor element C<SB>22</SB>connected to the cathode terminal of the light emitting element 21 to voltage- drive the light emitting element 21 by inputting a negative-phase modulation signal, and a resistor element R<SB>22</SB>connecting the cathode terminal of the light emitting element 21 to the earth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
