<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage or a failure in a driven device including a three- phase inverter or an electric motor. <P>SOLUTION: A main power source battery 29 supplies DC power to the three-phase inverter 30 for driving a motor. In a state of being electrically connected to the battery 29 via a magnet relay unit 35, the inverter 30 converts the DC power into three-phase AC power. An inverter ECU 37 prohibits the converting operation of the inverter 30, when the battery 29 is electrically cut off from the inverter 30 by the magnet relay unit 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
