<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily draw a polygonal model having an outline at a high speed and to appropriately perform shading. <P>SOLUTION: A reference model comprising a plurality of polygons are expanded, a back model formed by setting the direction of a plane normal line vector determining the front/back of each expanded polygon inversely to the direction of the plane normal line vector of each polygon constituting the reference model, and by setting the direction of a vertex normal line vector used for shading each expanded polygon in the same direction of the direction of a vertex normal line vector of each polygon constituting the reference model is stacked on the reference model to be formed into a framed model. A drawing processor 10 performs shading based on the vertex normal line vector of each polygon of the framed model, and draws only polygons whose normal line vectors constituting the framed model face in the direction of a viewpoint position of a virtual camera in the virtual game space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
