PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system with a cordless telephone function which can speedily inform inhabitants of a house of danger information with an alarm tone and alarm light in case of emergency such as instruction on or a fire in the house, etc., requires no complicated facilities, and can easily be installed. SOLUTION: A sensor equipped with a security function is incorporated in a cordless telephone, which is installed at each of necessary places in the house. Consequently, an emergency situation such as instruction and a fire occurs, abnormality contents and the occurrence place are transmitted to a mobile telephone, etc., in real time in the absence of the inhabitants by being displayed on the screen together with an alarm tone. A cordless telephone set such that a telephone set having sensed the abnormal situation generates an alarm tone and alarm light and displays the abnormality occurrence place on the screen when an inhabitant is at home is used to secure the family.
