PURPOSE: A headrest for a vehicle is provided to vary shapes of a head cushion according to intension of passenger and to reduce fatigue by traveling in a comfortable posture. CONSTITUTION: A headrest for a vehicle is composed of poles(2) inserted into a seat back frame; a head cushion(1) mounted at the upside of the pole to hold heads of passengers; wires(20) embedded in both sides of the head cushion, and wound or loosed by the driving of a motor(10) to change the height of a bent unit; and a motor switch(30) applying electric current to make the motor rotate forward or reversely. Therefore, the protruded state of both sides of the head cushion is regulated by operating the motor switch.
