The invention relates to compounds selected from: peptides having formula (I): C<(S)>-X1-X2-X3-X4-X5-X6-X7-C<(S)>, wherein the two cysteine residues are linked by means of a disulphide bridge which is represented by symbol C<(S)> and X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7 denote amino acids selected from a determined list; and derivatives of said peptides. The invention also relates to compositions comprising same and to the use thereof as anti-microbial agents.
