<p>A method for facilitating automatic completion of an electronic form displayed by an application is disclosed. The method involves receiving identification tag data that represents information contained within a machine-readable identification tag. A plurality of data fields in the identification tag data and a plurality of input fields in the electronic form are identified. Association code is generated which indicates how the plurality of data fields correspond to the plurality of input fields. A computing device for facilitating automatic completion of an electronic form displayed by an application is also disclosed. The computing device includes a processor and memory in electronic communication with the processor. An association code generator is stored in the memory. The association code generator is configured to implement the disclosed method.</p> |
