A terminal plate is formed with a wide portion and a narrow portion. The wide portion, to be insert-molded by a housing of a synthetic resin, is opened by an elongate blank hole having an inner peripheral surface parallel with a side shape thereof, thereby forming two divisional parts on the both sides thereof. The divisional part is given by a width s1 narrower than a width s2 of the narrow portion, wherein the total width (s1x2) of the two divisional parts is made equal to the width s2 of the narrow portion. Grooves can be formed on the main and back surfaces of the divisional parts.
