A rolling contactor (1) for providing electrical signal communication between a device under test "DUT" (15) and a support structure for the rolling contactor (1), including an electrically conductive circular roller (3) having an outer rolling surface (5) and an inner, centralized hole (9), between two, spaced-apart side walls, for rolling across the DUT (15), at least one electrically conductive circular spool located adjacent and in contact with one of the roller side walls, a support axle (7) adapted to pass axially through the holes (9) formed in the roller (3) and the spool, an electrical conductive axle bracket (21) adapted to support the axle (7) in a rotational arrangement, an electrically conductive brush (59) extending from the axle bracket (21) to contact the spool during rotation, and an electrically conductive elongated spring arm (27) extending between the axle bracket (21) and the support structure to complete the electrical path between the DUT (15), the roller (3) surface and the spool. |
