PURPOSE: An oily composition for processing a wire saw and a cutting method of a wire saw using the composition are provided, to improve the dispersion, the floating, the lubrication and the storage stability. CONSTITUTION: The oily composition comprises 5-9 wt% of at least one polyoxyethylene compound represented by R1-COO-(C2H4O)l-R2, R3-O-(CH2CH2O)m-(CH(CH3)CH2)-(CH2CH2O)n-R4, or R5-(C6H6)-O-(CH2CH2O)o-R6; 0.1-25 wt% of a composite dispersion concentrated solution comprising an α-olefin, fined chalk powder, fined clay powder and sorbitan monooleate, or a composite dispersion concentrated solution selected from the group consisting of microgel composite, organic clay and organic bentonite; 0.1-6 wt% of an auxiliary dispersion promoter containing at least one material selected from the group consisting of F2O3, Al2O3, Na2O and Si2O; 1-20 wt% of at least one oily property promoter selected from the group consisting of a vegetable and animal fatty acid oil represented by R-COO-M and an alkyl-based oleate represented by the formula or R11-C(CH3)2(OCOR12); and 8-80 wt% of a base oil comprising a paraffin-based oil, a naphthene-based oil or their mixture, wherein R1, R3 and R5 which are identical or different one another, represent H, a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid group of C12-C22 or a phenyl group; R2, R4 and R6 which are identical or different one another, represent H, an alcohol group, a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid group or a phenyl group; l, m, n and o are an integer of 1-4; R is H or an alkyl group; M is a saturated or unsaturated fatty acid group of C12-C22 or a vegetable or animal fatty acid ester group; and R11 are identical or different each other and are a methyl, ethyl, propyl or butyl group; and R8, R9, R10 and R12 which are identical or different one another, represent an alkyl group of C11-C22.
