PURPOSE: A method for controlling the aging of kimchi by selectively driving a plurality of heaters of a refrigerator is provided, which allows quick and uniform aging of kimchi stored in a storage vessel of the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: Kimchi is aged in several steps consisting of: selecting the kind of kimchi stored in a kimchi storage vessel(50); setting the taste of kimchi in accordance with a user's taste; heating a kimchi storage vessel in accordance with the aged degree of the kimchi; and storing the aged kimchi at low temperature(53). In the above heating step, the kimchi storage vessel is heated with a plurality of heaters in the case of setting to high temperature aging(51), or a main heater in the case of setting to low temperature aging(54).
