A hull for shipping with a mono-catamaran architecture has a front hull part (10) with a deep V-shape contour having an angle gradually increasing fore a nd aft to become a straight angle in a rear hull part (14) with chines extendin g according to a wing contour. The chines, starting from the stern, have a low er edge situated under the waterline (20) astern of the midship cross section a nd then raise being radiused with the front hull part (10).
