FIELD: medicine, surgery, portal hypertension, hepatology, pathohistology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out puncture biopsy of right hepatic lobe. At determining venules' diameter enhancing in bioptates in composition of portal triads by 5 and more times against the norm it is possible to predict unfavorable result of shunting, otherwise, one should predict good result. The present method enables to increase accuracy in selecting patients for portocaval shunting. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 ex |
