<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recordable optical recording medium which realizes high density recording, is good in C/N ratio and contrast of a regenerative signal, has high recording sensitivity, never eliminates of a recorded mark, and is excellent in weatherability. <P>SOLUTION: In a structure of the recordable optical recording medium, (1) a recording layer comprises two layers, the first recording layer in the side of a substrate comprises an alloy containing one element selected from In, O, Ni, Mn, and Mo, and the second recording layer comprises an alloy containing one element selected from Se and/or Te, O, Ti, Pd, and Zr. In another structure of the recordable optical recording medium, (2) the oxygen concentration distribution of the first recording layer is decreased from a contact surface with the second recording layer toward the substrate, and the oxygen concentration distribution of the second layer is decreased from a contact surface with the first recording layer oppositely to the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
