PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head in which discharge openings can be positioned highly accurately to an inkjet recorder body to enable a highly accurate liquid discharge, to provide an inkjet recording head which can prevent adverse effects to a liquid discharge accuracy by preventing an external force from being applied to a liquid discharge opening formation face, and to secure a technique whereby the inkjet recording head is inexpensively provided while a mass productivity is taken into account. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head has a base plate part with a mounting reference to the body, a frame body part including a liquid supply path for guiding a liquid, and a liquid supply port communicating with the liquid supply path, a chip unit which includes discharge energy generating elements, discharge openings and a liquid supply receiving port and is joined to the frame body part so that the liquid supply port communicates with the liquid supply receiving port, and a front cap part arranged to cover the chip unit and the frame body part.
