<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seat belt reminder method and device capable of surely giving an alarm of non-fitting of a seat belt without imparting unnatural feeling and distrust to a driver and an occupant by an audible alarm. <P>SOLUTION: When the seat belt is worn before on-time completely elapses during one-cycle while driving an audible alarm means, the audible alarm means is immediately turned off. Subsequently, when the seat belt is not fitted again, the audible alarm means is immediately turned on, the total of on-time including on-time before turning off the audible alarm means becomes more than alarm reference time, while following the duty cycle, and the audible alarm means is driven till on-time completely elapses during one-cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
