PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a plated steel sheet and an apparatus for producing both a cold rolled steel sheet and a plated steel sheet, wherein a small space is required for installing an alloying apparatus and wrong actuation due to the change in impedance does not occur.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the plated steel sheet and the apparatus for producing both the cold rolled steel sheet and the plated steel sheet are each equipped with an induction heating device with a height of≤3.0 m. The equipment described in claim 1 has a means for tracking welding points of a steel sheet and prevents trip due to excess output by reducing the output of the heating device to 0-70% just before the steel sheet comes into the heating device. Preferably, upper and lower coils constituting the heating device and an electric source are arranged in a T-shape.
