PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition providing rich foam when used even in a system wherein a touch feeling improver is formulated, having a conditioning feeling of the hair, and making combing good even after drying. SOLUTION: This detergent composition contains (A) 2-40 wt.% at least one kind of surfactant selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant, and (B) 0.01-10 wt.% cationic polymer containing one or more kinds of polymerization units selected from styrenic, diallylamine-based, vinylimidazole-based and vinylpyridinyl polymerization units.
