MAP DISPLAY SYSTEM, MAP DISPLAY DEVICE, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR DISPLAYING TRAFFIC INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information system for displaying traffic information easily recognizable visually even when map information is complicated. SOLUTION: The map display system includes an image display unit 27 for displaying a map, a map information processing unit 23 for acquiring map information including information relating to a road in an area displayed on the image display unit 27 from a map information storing unit 25, a traffic information processing unit 22 for acquiring traffic information relating to the road from a traffic information acquiring unit 21, a screen draw processing unit 24 for displaying the traffic information by preparing the roads to be displayed on the image display unit 27 based on the information relating to the road and processing the road lines according to draw information of the traffic information while keeping original colors of the road.
