PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain cavitations in a fuel path from a high pressure pump 12 to a fuel injection valve 15. SOLUTION: A stationary wave 23 is formed by an ultrasonic transducer 5 in a case 4 installed in the middle of intake pipes 3 and 9. A collecting chamber 8 communicated with the case 4 via a first communication passage 7 opened downstream of the case 4 is installed. Air bubbles 25 are agglomerated near a node 24 by an action of emission pressure of the stationary wave 23, and are grown larger by integration, so as to easily move and stag the air bubbles 25 in the collecting chamber 8 from an opening hole 7a downstream of the case 4 via the first communication passage 7. Therefore, the fine air bubbles 25 mixed in the fuel can be removed in the case 4, so as to restrain cavitations in the fuel path from the high pressure pump 12 to the fuel injection valve 15.
