<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method by which when transfer paper is pro vided with a sublimating dye printed layer and the printed layer is transferred to a polyester fiber fabric by heat, the original image transferred to the fabric is made clear and excellent reproducibility of hue is produced, the transfer paper and ink. <P>SOLUTION: The dry transfer method for ink-jet printing is a method with which dry transfer paper for ink-jet printing obtained by providing one side of paper, etc., with a receiving layer containing sublimating dye-containing ink is printed by ink jet and the printed surface is transferred to the fabric by heat and comprises using the dye ink with 160-280°C sublimation point and having 2-20% dye residual ratio after the transfer. The transfer paper for the ink-jet printing is obtained by using the dye ink having 160-280°C sublimation point and wholly has 2-20% dye residual ratio after the transfer.
