PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of assembling contact members in a lens barrel by which assembly is made very easy and a drastic reduction in cost can be realized. SOLUTION: The method is provided with a stage for electrically connecting (soldering or press-contact or the like) a plurality of contact members (1A to 1E and 11A to 11E) to flexible printed boards (2 and 12) in a state where the contact members (1A to 1E and 11A to 11E) are integrally coupled by coupling parts (1H and 11H) integrally formed with the contact members (1A to 1E and 11A to 11E) so as to integrally couple them, a stage for setting the contact members (1A to 1E and 11A to 11E) in an independent state by releasing the coupling state by the coupling parts (1H and 11H), and a stage for holding the contact members (1A to 1E and 11A to 11E) and the flexible printed boards (2 and 12) in a circular-arc state fit to the shape of the lens barrel by holding members (3, 4, 13 and 14).
