PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which two or more feed rolls can be printed simultaneously. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises a feed roll setting means 104 capable of setting a plurality of feed rolls simultaneously, and a sheet sensor 111 capable of detecting the width and the end position of a plurality of sheets.
