摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a driving route for front wheels is cut off to lower braking force for the front wheels, since connection ability of a clutch is lowered by stop of an engine in a mechanism in which hydraulic clutches are provided respectively in a four-wheel drive side and a front wheel acceleration drive side, in a conventional four-wheel drive/front wheel accelera tion drive switching mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: In a traveling vehicle capable of conducting switching between the four-wheel drive and front wheel acceleration drive, four drive clutch pistons 81, 82 are inserted slidably into a cylinder 80 turned integrally with a front wheel drive output shaft 30 of a drive output shaft to the front wheels, a claw type clutch energized to be meshed all the time is provided between the one four drive clutch piston 81 and a standard drive input gear 50, a friction type clutch is provided between the other clutch piston 82 and an acceleration drive input gear 60, and those clutches are switched individually by a hydraulic fluid from a hydraulic pump 86 driven by receiving power of the engine 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
