PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lockup clutch control device further delicately controlling by setting a hydraulic gradient per duty ratio of deceleration slip control lower than that of acceleration slip control. SOLUTION: This control device is used for a lockup clutch 5 for mechanically engaging and disengaging the input side of a fluid power transmission device 1 installed in a vehicular automatic transmission with/from the output side thereof. The control device is provided with: source pressure regulation valves 10 and 30; slip control valves 50 and 70 for controlling oil pressure applied to the lockup clutch 5 according to a duty ratio by using the oil pressure regulated by the source pressure regulation valves as source pressure to control slip of the lockup clutch; a determination means 90 for determining whether the vehicular operation state is in an acceleration slip region of the lockup clutch, a deceleration slip region thereof or a region other than those; and a source pressure variation means 80 for setting, when the determination means determines the determination means to be in the deceleration slip region, the oil pressure regulated by the source pressure regulation valves lower than that in the acceleration slip region.
