SCROLL TYPE FLUID MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine which easily copes with cases where there is no need to increase the amount of compressed air, and to prevent an unbalanced thrust load from being added to an output shaft of an electric motor. SOLUTION: A cylindrical casing 1 is provided with a fixed scroll 5 attachably/detachably on one end and a fixed cover 7 attachably/detachably on the other end. The electric motor 8 is positioned inside the casing 1 between the fixed scroll 5 and the fixed cover 7. A turning axis 14 of the electric motor 8 constructing the output shaft together with a rotating shaft 11 is provided with a turning scroll 17 on one end. On the other end of the turning shaft 14 is a turning plate 21 defining a hermetical space 23 between the end of the turning shaft 14 and the fixed cover 7. The compressed air generated inside a compressing room 19 between the fixed scroll 5 and the turning scroll 17 is led inside the hermetic space 23 on the turning plate 21 side using piping 28.
