PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base, and its producing method, in which occurrence of twist is eliminated by improving mutual bonding of rising parts, rigidity is enhanced without increasing the weight, alignment is definitely carried out at the time of assembling work, and productivity is enhanced. SOLUTION: A first plate body 10 having a rising part 12 at the edge part thereof is fitted with a second plate body 20 having a rising part 22 at the edge part thereof corresponding to the edge part of the first plate body 10 thus forming the base 1. The rising part 12 of the first plate body 10 is provided with screw holes 13 and fitting holes 14 and the rising part 22 of the second plate body 20 is provided with screw holes 23 aligned with the screw holes 13 of the first plate body 10 under fitted state, and protrusions 24 being fitted in the fitting holes 14.
