TURNING MECHANISM FOR PROP STICK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform work of holding an open attitude of a lid plate and to stably keep the open attitude of the lid plate.

SOLUTION: A prop stick 14 is provided so as to be able to hold the open attitude of a lid plate 13 of a grand piano 10 and can be turned between a standing position for holding the open attitude of the lid plate 13 and a falling position and can stand unsupported in the standing position. A position control part 23 for keeping a turning angle of the prop stick 14 fixed is provided between the prop stick 14 and a main body 11 of the grand piano 10.
