PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure fastening strength in the inside of the case top part of a transmission, and to prevent interference of a mounting flange in the case top part when the transmission is mounted to a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this case structure of the transmission 1, the mounting flange 10A is formed at a position offset sideward from the arrangement position of a striking rod 12 in the inside of the case top part of the transmission 1, and an adapter plate 4, a front case 2 and a housing 3 are bolted through the mounting flange 10A.
