PURPOSE: A pollution preventive device around a fuel filler door during filling is provided to keep the external appearance of a vehicle clean by restricting fuel from being smeared on a side panel with overflowing in filling a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: A pollution preventive device around a fuel filler door(16) is composed of a shutoff screen(30) combined with the filler door by a hinge to cover the lower part of a fuel filler(15) in filling a fuel tank with fuel; an elastic spring fitted to a hinge shaft to contact the shutoff screen to the fuel filler in filling the fuel tank; rubber packing(32) protruded inside the shutoff screen to contact the shutoff screen to the fuel filler efficiently; and a fixing link formed in the filler door to keep the shutoff screen folded and mounted inside the filler door.
