<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display element suppressing light leakage in a crossed Nicol state after finishing a reliability test. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display element equipped with a polarizing plate on the outside of two electrode substrates placed opposite to each other, the liquid crystal display device uses a polymer film with 5.0×10<SP>-13</SP>-25.0×10<SP>-13</SP>cm<SP>2</SP>/dyne photoelastic coefficient as a supporting body corresponding to the electrode substrate side of the polarizing plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
