PURPOSE:To reduce dispersion of battery performance by assembling a battery in an atmosphere of saturated vapor pressure of low boiling point organic solvent in electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene separator 4 is placed in an assembly comprising a stainless steel sealing plate 1 which also serves as a negative terminal, a negative current collector 2, negative lithium 3, and a propylene insulating gasket 8, then organic electrolyte 9 is poured on the separator. Electrolyte 9 is prepared by dissolving, for example, lithium boron fluoride in an equal amount of solvent of propylene carbonate and 1,2-dimethoxyethane. A positive mix 5, a positive current collector 6, and a case 7 are placed, then they are sealed. The process from electrolyte pouring to sealing is performed in a box to which 1,2-dimethoxyethane vapor vaporized with an ultrasonic wave generator is fed from near a dry air supply hole to prevent vaporization of electrolyte. |
