PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the dispersion stability of particulates and to provide a particulates dispersion composition with excellent dispersion stability by using this evaluating method. SOLUTION: This method is used for evaluating dispersion stability of particulates in a particulates dispersion composition including a solvent and the particulates. According to this method, by using a fluid infinitesimal calorie measuring method, adsorption heat of the solvent to particulates is measured to prepare an adsorption heat isothermal line with respect to a plurality of solvent solutions of different concentration. An adsorption equilibrium constant is found from the isothermal line. From the equilibrium constant, the dispersion stability is evaluated of particulates in the dispersion composition including the solvent and the particulates This dispersion composition includes the solvent and the particulates, and the composition includes one or more kinds of solvents whose adsorption equilibrium constant to the particulates is 0.70 to 1.35.
