摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of the piston thrust load in high-speed operation. SOLUTION: In a linkage mechanism of a reciprocating internal combustion engine, a control shaft 8 is located in the side to which the crank pin center D is lowered, with respect to the straight line E parallel to the reciprocal direction of a piston 2 through the center C of a crank main shaft 12, and the reciprocating axis line G of a piston pin and the moving locus of an upper pin center H is located. The swing center A of a control link 9 is located at the lower direction side in the reciprocating direction of the piston than the center C of the crank main shaft, and the moving locus of the control pin center J becomes the circular arc which serves as a convex at the above side in the reciprocating direction of the piston.
