PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone composition having excellent flame retardancy without reducing curing ability even when increased in quantity of additives. SOLUTION: The flame retardant silicone composition is obtained by blending (D) a compound in which a secondary amino group directly bonding to a phenyl group in benzotriazole, benzimidazole, phenoxazine, N-allylaniline, p- anilinophenol, m-anilinophenol, 2-phenylindole, 2-anilinoethanol is silylated into a silicone composition comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane expressed by formula (1): R<SB>a</SB>R<SP>1</SP><SB>b</SB>SiO<SB>(4-a-b)/2</SB>(R expresses a lower alkenyl; R<SP>1</SP>expresses a nonsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon having no aliphatic unsaturated bond; a expresses 0.0001-0.2; b expresses 1.7-2.2; a+b expresses 1.9-2.4), (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having an SiH group in one molecule and (C) platinum or a platinum compound.
