PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operation failure of an automatic rice cooker and also the deterioration of rice. SOLUTION: Rice and water of quantities necessary for rice cooking are supplied from a rice supplying part and a water supplying part 29 to the pot 36 of a rice cooking part 24 to perform rice cooking. A steam discharge part 40 is provided in the rice supplying part so that even if the steam generated during rice cooking or heat retention, intrudes into the rice supplying part, it can be discharged out of the automatic rice cooker 20.
