PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the number of start conditions to invalidate game balls which enter a start hole as little as possible when operating an ordinary motor- driven role object in a game machine in which the ordinary motor-driven role object is adopted to the start hole. SOLUTION: The ordinary motor-driven role object and a big prize hole are provided on a game board 2 of a Pachinko (pinball game) machine 1, and a special pattern display device equipped with a display part is integrated in a middle portion of the game board 2. A plurality of pattern streams are displayed on the display part, and each pattern stream is composed of patterns of a plurality of kinds. Within a control apparatus, special pattern variation hold storage means are provided as many as the maximum number of prize winning during the operation of the ordinary motor-driven role object and above the display part, and hold lamps are provided as many as the number of the special pattern variation hold storage means.
