PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphite crucible with a filter with which exchange of the molten metal filter is easily performed. SOLUTION: Since a graphite sheet 11 is interposed among a fitting hole part 5 and a reduced diameter step part 6 in a filter fitting hole 4 and the molten metal filter 10, and sealed, and joint parts 12, 13 developed on the outside surface and the inside surface of the crucible body 2, are plugged only with refractory mortar 14, the refractory mortar 14 can easily be removed without breaking the crucible body 2. Therefore, the molten metal filter 10 is simply removed from the filter fitting hole 4 and can be exchanged and the graphite crucible 1 can be reused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
