PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatter removing device that is designed to surely hold the nozzle of a welding torch having a certain range of bore with one type of clamper. SOLUTION: In a casing (1), there are arranged the clamper (5) for holding a nozzle at the tip end of a welding torch, a cutter unit (3) in which a scraper (10) is situated on the same axial line as the axial center of the nozzle held by this clamper (5), and a vertical driving unit (2) for raising and lowering the cutter unit (3) parallelly in a reciprocating manner. The clamper (5) is composed of a fixing member (13) having a nearly V shaped receiving face and a pusher (14) structured so as to be movable forwards and backwards relative to the receiving face of the fixing member (13). The cutter unit (3) is constituted of the scraper (10) arranged on the upper face of a supporting base (9) and a driving motor (II) arranged on the lower face of the supporting base (9) and designed to rotatably drive the scraper. The vertical driving unit (2) is composed of a guide rod (7) for linearly guiding the supporting base (9) of the cutter unit (3) and a fluid pressure actuator (8) for vertically moving the supporting base (9) of the cutter unit (3).
