PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footrest for a chair with favorable handiness capable of providing a state normally with a high flexibility of laid foot and individually holding right and left legs as needed. SOLUTION: The footrest 1 for the chair is provided in a seat part front side of the chair, right and left wall parts 11 and 11 are erected on right and left sides of a footrest part 10, and a partition part B is provided in a center position of the footrest part 10 so that as to freely protrude and withdraw.
