PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium capable of removing a granular substance with high efficiency, suppressing the propagation of trapped bacteria and fungi, having excellent biodegrading treatment properties and easily subjected to disposal treatment. SOLUTION: The filter medium comprises fiber aggregate wherein at least two kinds of monofilaments having biodegradability are uniformly mixed and at least one kind of the monofilaments is electret polylactic acid fibers and the other kind of them is biodegradable fibers containing a natural antibacterial/ antifungal agent.
