PURPOSE: A sterilizer using ultraviolet rays is provided to increase the sterilizing time and sterilizing power without turning an ultraviolet lamp. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizer using ultraviolet rays is composed of a main body(1) having a space(1a) therein, an ultraviolet lamp(7) installed in the main body, a door(5) rotatably coupled with the main body, and an elastic member(13) pushing the door against the main body to close the door. The door blocks the ultraviolet rays to the outside of the main body while the door is closed, and also blocks the ultraviolet rays to the inside of the main body while the door is opened.
