PURPOSE: A brush and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce manufacturing costs and time by completing the post process through a single curve formation process. CONSTITUTION: A brush(30) comprises a brush body having a rectangular parallelepiped shape with a predetermined length. The brush body has a plurality of sintered protrusions(34) protruded from a lengthwise front cross section(32) of the brush body. Each of the sintered protrusions has a commutator contact surface(35) formed at the front of the sintered protrusion. The commutator contact surface has a curvature and curvature direction matched to the curvature and curvature direction of the commutator.
