<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of stably supplying the sufficient amount of toner to the upper part of a supply roller, enhancing the circularity of toner scraped off by a regulation blade, and stably supplying the uniform amount of toner in the length direction of the supply roller. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is equipped with a toner guiding space part 131 formed lower than a position where the regulation blade 109 abuts on a developing roller 107 and upper than the upper level of toner, and a toner guiding surface 129 at least partially positioned lower than the space part 131 and inclined at an angle equal to or above the angle of repose of the toner so as to guide the toner scraped off from the peripheral surface of the roller 107 by the regulation blade into a toner storage part.
