PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor in which noise level can be reduced at the time of rotary driving by employing resin as the material of a base plate and ensuring a required rigidity. SOLUTION: The stator 20 comprises a core 22 having a plurality of salient poles formed in the circumferential direction while projecting radially and wound with windings 24, respectively, and a base plate 10 having a surface 16 facing the core 22 and a part 30 being fixed to an apparatus. The base plate 10 is composed of resin and projects toward the core 22 as the surface 16 facing the core approaches the center from the radial outside and thereby the axial cross-section thereof is triangular.
