摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a data compressing means for preparing accurate isoplethic surface data at high speed by reducing the amount of data from three- dimensional data obtained by a medical or industrial CT or MRI. SOLUTION: As for generated triangle isoplethic surface data, smaller triangles are successively selected and erased while confirming with original three-dimensional data, that no trouble is caused in precision even when the triangles are erased according to an arbitrarily set erasure rate. After the triangles are erased, adjacent triangles are also erased or deformed. Thus, it is possible to always generate the isoplethic surface data with the highest precision in accordance with the amount of data which are arbitrarily erased. Thus, it is possible to prepare and process an accurate image at high speed while using the isoplethic surfaces whose amount of data is small as necessary in the three-dimensional image processing.
