The clamp device (2) with a balance trainer (3) is for a child bicycle (1) and comprises a block with a hinged hand steel and an eccentric tensioner for clamping around the saddle pin. On its under side the block is provided with a small thin plate, which fits in a groove of the frame tube with a bolt and nut connection, in order to prevent the horizontal rotation of the clamp device around the saddle pin. The balance trainer comprises bent tube parts (14,15) which enclose an angle between each other of approximately 70 degrees. The outer end of the one tube part (15) is preferably covered with a stop (16).
