PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for housing an electric apparatus or the like which always not only has sure waterproofness and dustproofness but also surely and easily releases a packing without retaining a wreck when the peel of the packing is required. SOLUTION: In the case for housing the electric apparatus or the like comprising the packing adhered to the required position of the case to prevent a foreign matter from invading into the case from the outside, a base tape 3 is releasably laminarly adhered to a plate material 1 for forming the case via an adhesive 4, and the packing 2 made of a foamed resin material is adhered integrally to the surface of the tape 3. In this case, it is further preferred that a small piece 5 for releasing is interposed partly between the material 1 for forming the case and the adhesive 4 to simply release without searching a release port, and the packing 2 is formed in a seamless form formed by mechanically discharging the foamed resin material having elasticity in a strap state.
