<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network device management system and a control method thereof that can simplify operations of a client application and reduce the traffic of inter-process communications. <P>SOLUTION: A client device requests log information about a device connected on a network from a server device by inter-process communication. The server device uses a given protocol to acquire log information about the device, and transmits it to the client device by inter-process communication.
